About
This Energy from the Edge Conference was organised by Shetland Islands Council in partnership with the North Atlantic Forum (NAF), North Atlantic Co-operation (NORA), the International Society for the Study of Marginal Regions (ISSMR) and HIE Shetland.
The Conference overlapped with the Energy From the Edge Symposium on renewable energy in isolated locations, held in Shetland between 11th-13th September. Indeed, on the 12th September the symposium findings were delivered to the Conference at an opening plenary session where both Symposium and Conference delegates were in attendance.
